Holy smokes I just read this over at alternet.org and I have to say that I’m totally for outing Hypocrits, no matter where they are. I’m personally not going to rush to any judgement, but being the cynical person that I am I would see no feeling of surprise overcoming me if all this turns out to be true, and Charlie Christ really is homo sexual.
I personally, like so many other Americans give a rat’s ass what you do in your bedroom – as long as children aren’t harmed and nobody ends up in the hosptical, it is all good in my book and I feel everyone else should look at it the same way.
What’s of course so disturbing is that so many politicians on the Republican side who are clearly against anything that goes against their Republican values of marriage, are themselves the biggest offenders of these fictitous, religious laws. In other countries such as Germany the public cares very little whether polticians are gay or straight, because it says nothing abou their governing power. Over here though, sexual orientation and various other “character attributes” are used to gauge our political servants – where they have little to do with their qualifications.
