Glenn Beck To Fox, An Inevitable Move

Glenn Beck is finally moving to the network that suits him best, Fox News. From the day he got a show on CNN I was wondering when this move was going to come and I never could figure out why CNN would have him on. On the other hand, with incompetent fake journalists such as Nancy Grace, I guess Glenn Beck kind of fits in. As I’ve written in this post, I find Glenn Beck to be worse than some of the people we have in our Government and it’s sad to see people like him even have a career.

He used to be on AM radio and quite frankly, that’s a perfect spot for him. Recently, certain radio personalities have made their move from behind the speaker, to right in front of your eyes. Where I think this worked great in cases like Rachael Maddow, I feel that most companies are trying to hire AM radio jockeys for the wrong reasons – sensationalism. I’m pretty sure Maddow wasn’t chosen because she’s a sensationalist, though I’m sure Keith Olberman had a big say in it since he seems to treat her like his little sister, which by the way is totally fine by me.

The result of MSNBC’s hiring of a radio person was adding more credibility to their station, I’m not sure what Fox News is getting with Glenn Beck, other than having another ideological moron on their team. Either way, this makes total sense to me and I’m glad that Beck is moving to the network where he will blend in perfectly.

    Rachael,
You are right on 100% re: GB. He is a hate spewing, non thinker. Faux news is just the right mein for his venom. Anyone listening to that deserves what they get. CRAPOLA.

Keith Olberman is a moron. The fact that you tolerate him and not Glenn Beck proves you to be a moron as well.

    Good Afternoon Mr. Beck,
First of all thank you so much for all you do to raise the issues and to stimulate thinking about the attempts by Obama and his gang of liberal Democratic thieves to steal America from us hard working Americans ... thank you.
You raised the notion that Obama may be on the cusp of "evil' ... in my heart I believe he has crossed the line and is in fact the "evil one" ... not the "chosen one". He has lied to the American people and has failed to deliver on his campaign promises ... I have never felt as much content for one man as I feel for the "evil one" ... the "self interest liar". America needs to wake up very soon before Obama sells us out to feed his ego and befoe he destroys what our Founding Fathers fought for to gain our independence and to create a "govenment by the people and for the people".
I feel helpless but I am ready to join our next revolution to win our country back and to reward, not penalize the millions of us hard work middle class AMERICANS.
Thank you in advance for reading this ... I fell a liitle better having vented my spleen a bit.

    Sincerely

    Liberato Tortoric
  • Hmm - I don't think you're understanding where I'm coming from nor have you read any of my posts where I attack just about every media outlet. I think Fox News are the worst because they have the most crooks on. I mean what country do we live in where a criminal like Oliver North gets his own TV show? Pat Buchanan on MSNBC was knee deep into his own problems as far as I'm concerned and he seems to be part of the staff there. Also, I used to listened to Glenn Beck and where he was perfect for AM radio because he didn't get as much as exposure, I think him being on TV is no contribution to the media landscape. I just have different standards for what we collectively refer to "journalism". Fox News may have people on from both sides of the political spectrum, but what difference does that make when you don't have any level of integrity when it comes to serious journalism. If you want to see serious journalism, unbiased facts, always both sides of the spectrum - check out democracynow.org there are no egos there, just people doing their job - reporting news from around our Nation and the World.

WOW your an open minded person....freedom of speech realy hurts HUH. MSNBC is GOD ALL HAIL MSNBC you liberal wacko. Don't try to be an unbiased journalist or anything. People like you sicken me. I can't understand why you hate him so much. He is a family oriented, self educated, AMERICA loving man. Ok so you don't agree with his views......SO HE'S THE DEVIL. Your basicly saying that CCN and MSNBC are not stations that have fair and balanced views like FOX actualy does. They have almost 50/50 mix of contributor to thier shows. YES the hosts lean to the conservative side but the guests are almost right down the middle unlike MSNBC who always invites peopel who share the same views so it can turn into a bashfest. Give it up people and realize that we are all americans and in the same boat. You act like conservatives are the devil and that we want to return to the rule of roman catholics.
