Glenn Beck is finally moving to the network that suits him best, Fox News. From the day he got a show on CNN I was wondering when this move was going to come and I never could figure out why CNN would have him on. On the other hand, with incompetent fake journalists such as Nancy Grace, I guess Glenn Beck kind of fits in. As I’ve written in this post, I find Glenn Beck to be worse than some of the people we have in our Government and it’s sad to see people like him even have a career.
He used to be on AM radio and quite frankly, that’s a perfect spot for him. Recently, certain radio personalities have made their move from behind the speaker, to right in front of your eyes. Where I think this worked great in cases like Rachael Maddow, I feel that most companies are trying to hire AM radio jockeys for the wrong reasons – sensationalism. I’m pretty sure Maddow wasn’t chosen because she’s a sensationalist, though I’m sure Keith Olberman had a big say in it since he seems to treat her like his little sister, which by the way is totally fine by me.
The result of MSNBC’s hiring of a radio person was adding more credibility to their station, I’m not sure what Fox News is getting with Glenn Beck, other than having another ideological moron on their team. Either way, this makes total sense to me and I’m glad that Beck is moving to the network where he will blend in perfectly.
