I’m a few days later reporting thing I think. I know most of the people I hang out with weren’t around for the golf of tomkin incident and if you really have no clue what I’m talking about go back to school or something, open a history book, be creative. A new headline to hit us this week was the fact that Iran was getting too close to our ships or that some type of “ominous” threat as wolf the former lobbyist blitzer reports on his “situation room”.

Since it’s hard for most people to take a look from the other side I’m going to do it for you. Imagine Iran had vessels all around our perimeter. Who do you think we would blame if there was a confrontation? Don’t you think it would be us that say “hey - after all you’re in OUR backyard?” It’s quite natural for a country to be patrolling and moving around in an area close to their homeland.
I’m assuming you didn’t go back to school nor did you open up a history book so let me explain the golf of tomkin thing to you again. Just like with Iran, we had navy vessels around Vietnam patrolling. Then, one day out of the blue North Vietnamese troops allegedly attacked us to which we of course had no other alternative than firing back Turns out that was a bunch of bologna and another incident produced specifically to get us into a war. Anyone know how many US soldiers died in Vietnam? Over 50,000. We’re close to 4,000 casualties now in Iraq and if we start another war (with Iran) you can expect our casualties to go up substantially.
