In the lab, we took a genetically engineered plasmid with genes for fluorescence and antibiotic resistance and mixed it with bacteria so the bacteria would pick up the plasmid. My teacher said we have to write the article with a slant to make it interesting, any ideas?

You could talk about a topic Michael Crichton brings up in Jurassic Park, that businesses might want to use animals for advertising.
