Wow - just found this video on the “internets” - totally had reznor written off to be quite honest. I used to be a huge NIN fan but at some point I was just over that type of music.
I recent times I’ve thought that it’s kind of odd that none of today’s artists decry what’s going on in this country. During vietnam tons of music was written that was against the war. I guess it all comes back to the fact that we don’t have a draft and that most Americans really aren’t affected by this global war on terror. Americans are busy shopping to keep us safe I think.
Glad to see someone is putting out content that gets people to think. It’s so very true that Americans are distracted. Busy working two jobs to be able to live the lifestyle they want doesn’t give the common people enough time to think and pay attention.
