You do have to wonder whether Bush and his fellow gang of crooks and thieves just figure that at this point nobody’s paying any attention, because if they were, blow backs would have occurred already. In light of that I guess it’s not surprising that Bush comes out and accuses Russia of striking back too hard on Georgia. Where he gets the nerve to accuse anyone of anything is beyond me quite frankly but I digress.
At the start of the Olympic Games George Bush made another statement which I thought was the epitomy of blatent ignorance. He said that while he welcomed the games he really was worried about China’s human rights abuse. Human rights abuse? Like the abuse that’s in progress at the very moment I write this, it’s called Guantanamo Bay and we’re holding several hundred foreigners there, with little to no evidence at all that they were involved in attack on the World Trade Center in 2001. Beyond that, we’ve been holding these human beings in dog cage for nearly 5 years without any sign of trials, or closure for that matter.
For bush to come out now and accuse Russia of bullying and intimidating Georgia is just unbelievable. Of course most people don’t pay attention to this, but the fact is that at the time of the attack, we had 1,200 troops participating in military exercises with Georgian troops. Beyond that, one of the people on John McCain’s campaign team is an active lobbyist in business with them, doesn’t anyone think that’s quite the coincidence? The Georgian President even mentioned McCain in one of his speeches which underscores the strong ties the US and it’s surrogates has with the country. It’s also a reason why a lot of the press that is coming out in regards to this story is very confusing.
