How anyone can still have such a big shit grin on their face in light of the blatant failure of anything he stands for is beyond me. In the video below, we again see how completely out of touch with reality the conservatism “movement” is.
..the surge matters a lot I think
I think the surge doens’t matter one bit. Whether Obama admits he was wrong on the surge or not, it again doesn’t change over arching questions, which is whether going into Iraq in the first place was the right thing to do. A quick look at our economic, ecological and geo political situation tells me that the Iraq war was one of the dummest things we could have done and to still sit there and debat about certain elements of the war and how their individual impact is, is completel ludicrous. While Kristol and other on the right and in the media are justifying their way out of this War, the rest of the country is very strong in their belief that it was a mistake and that we should get out now. 60,000,000 Americans are without health care and we’re in other countries dropping bombs on innocent people. Where I ask is the justification for all this.
When I look at his face, his big grin I can only think of the latest Batman movie I just watched, where Keith Ledger so skillfully depicted the Joker character, in a more insane way, than the usual animated type we’re used to from previous Batman sequels. It is that same level of insanity, even if camouflaged in a slightly more subtle individual, that reminds me so much of the Joker. I think Kristol and the entire Neo Con movement are close to being insane, as their ideas and concepts for the world, thought up in corporate sponsored think thanks, serve no other purpose than to feed their insane minds.
